Kathy Bakley is now in
her second year of teaching the Parent &
Tot Class. Her class has been filled since
she began teaching! Miss Kathy now
also assistant coaches the mini team! After several
years on the sidelines watching her
daughter Melissa, we noticed that Kathy
had an eye for the sport. She was able to
access the children's skills and correct
errors that were being made. So, she
decided to become USAG safety certified.
Since much of her time was spent at the
gym, she figured she would put her new
found skills to good use. She has
excellent communication skills and her
friendly personality makes her an asset to
our facility. Kathy also studied
gymnastics in her younger years under the
direction of Miss Gerri Barber, who
ironically also taught several of our
staff members. One funny side note: Miss
Kathy once starred in a production of
"ALBUQUERQUE TURKEY"!
