Kathy Bakley is now
in her fourth year of teaching at the
Art of Gymnastics & Cheer. Her parent/tot
class has been filled since she began
teaching! Miss Kathy now also assistant
coaches the competition team! After
several years on the sidelines watching
her daughter Melissa, we noticed that
Kathy had an eye for the sport.
She was able to access the children's
skills and correct errors that were being
made. So, she decided to become
USAG safety certified. Since much
of her time was spent at the gym, she
figured she would put her new found skills
to good use. She has
excellent communication skills and her
friendly personality makes her an asset
to our facility. Kathy also studied
gymnastics in her younger years under
the direction of Miss Gerri Barber, who
ironically also taught some of our staff
members. Kathy also has amazing
vocal qualities! She sings as a
guest singer in a band and can be seen
many weekends in nightclubs, shows and
Atlantic City Casinos. One funny
side note: Miss Kathy once starred in
a production of "ALBUQUERQUE
TURKEY"!

Krystle Goodman

Krystle has been
involved in gymnastics for over 14 years
where she competed on the elite level
circuit for over 5 years, earning numerous
awards in international competition. In
addition to winning a New Jersey State
Championship, Krystle is a 5 time Level
10 National Qualifier. She received her
safety certification through USA Gymnastic
Association and also holds certified CPR
certificates for adult, child and infants.
Outside of gymnastics, Krystle is also
a certified TAE BOE instructor. Krystle
holds dual Bachelors degrees in Business
Administration and Marketing from North
Carolina Wesleyan College.
Building on her
experience as an elite athlete and coaching
at several clubs, Krystle has developed
a program that will encourage a fun, positive
and developmental atmosphere for all children
who participate. Her goal is to share
her passion for living an active lifestyle
to all children. The rising epidemic of
child inactivity and obesity becomes a
greater concern every year, and the best
way to slow this trend is to encourage
a healthy and physically active lifestyle
at a young age. Teaching our children
now will instill values that can have
a lifelong impact on their future health
and physical fitness.
